The standard Camera Duck is designed to protect your SLR or dSLR camera from the elements and to keep you shooting in less than optimum circumstances. It will also fit most palm sized camcorders with a side or back mounted display. Developed with input from Matt Ferraro, Director of Photography at Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ocean Futures Society, the Camera Duck insures that harsh weather conditions are no longer an obstacle to you getting the shot you want. Regardless whether it be a blazing desert sun, a cold wind-swept glacier, or a tropical downpour you face, you can continue shooting with confidence, knowing your equipment is safe from the elements and in fully operational condition. Most cameras and batteries start to fail around 32 degrees Farenheit. The Camera Duck with four activated 4 heat packets is able to keep the interior of the cover at about 60 degrees F in 15 degree F environment. By utilizing camera duck heat packets in the internal pockets, you can keep your camera warm and functioning. The heat packs, which are non-toxic, odorless, and disposable, provide up to 24 hours of gentle heat.
